Detail Itinerary

Morning: Angkor Wat sunrise (5:00 a.m. to 7:00 a.m.)
We start our tour before sunrise to experience the iconic view as the sun appears behind the temple’s five towers. Once the main sunrise is over, we take this opportunity to explore the interior galleries and bas-reliefs of Angkor Wat before continuing the circuit.

Small Circuit temples (7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.)
After watching the sunrise, you will continue your day following the Small Circuit route, which is a 17-kilometer loop covering the most famous temples.

  • Angkor Thom: Enter the ancient walled city through the impressive South Gate, which is lined with statues of gods and demons. Inside, visit the Bayon Temple, known for its more than 200 serene stone faces.
  • Baphuon: See this large pyramid temple, famous for its reconstructed structure.
  • Terrace of the Elephants and Terrace of the Leper King: These royal terraces are adorned with intricate bas-relief carvings.
  • Ta Prohm (Tomb Raider Temple): Explore this temple where gigantic tree roots have overgrown and intertwined with the ancient stone structures, creating a dramatic, photogenic scene.
  • Banteay Kdei: Visit this less-restored temple, a large and peaceful Buddhist monastery.

Lunch: lunch break at the restaurant near the temples, before back to your hotel in Siem Reap city and end of the day services.
